Forever fascinated by the way things work and move, Katie soon gravitated to the art of character animation, for which she received a bachelor’s degree at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts.
Growing up in Champaign, IL with her four brothers, Katie was constantly captured by the art and story displayed in the video games that she played with her older siblings. Now, she seeks to be a part of the creation of media that affects others in the same way that it affected her younger self.
Whether it is character animation, crochet, or costume design (for which she contributed as a costume designer for Florida State University’s Student Circus) Katie has an unquenchable desire to create and bring ideas to life.
Her credits include: "Monster High: Forgotten Battle of the Bands", Funkrust Brass Band's "Quartermain and Victoria", Silver Comet's "Star Forest," and Charming Disaster's "Time Machine".
She is now a freelancer and Co-Founder of Witching Hour LLC.
